So, the French Lick Resort in Indiana boasts the famous Pluto Mineral Springs. And the Hermitage Hotel, beloved by presidents and Hollywood stars, was Nashville’s first million-dollar hotel.
But, apparently, they have nothing over the Hotel Bethlehem, which triumphed over some of the most elite historic hotels across the country. The Hotel Bethlehem placed No. 3 on USA Today’s 10BEST 2019 Readers Choice Awards “Best Historic Hotel.”
“Achieving national recognition has been our vision since we affiliated with Historic Hotels of America in 2004,” said Bruce Haines, Hotel Bethlehem’s managing partner. “This is a great day for all of us that have played a role in restoring Grand Dame of Main Street.”
The editors selected Hotel Bethlehem as among the 20 finalists based on input from an expert panel, industry awards and guest reviews. Readers chose the top 10 winners through online voting last month. Hotel Bethlehem General Manager Dennis Costello praised the overwhelming response from the community to propel the hotel to Top 10 status.
