Father’s Day Bites + Backyard Bash is our ALL-NEW event to kick off the Summer in Historic Downtown Bethlehem. The theme of this event is backyard BBQ-inspired. We are looking for businesses to sign up to sample a bite of food that may be found at a backyard bbq, a sample of a drink (non-alcoholic) or even host a game that can be played inside or outside of your business. Based on your sampling, DBA will assist with supplies and those offering food or drink, stipends will also be provided (permit fees will also be covered by the DBA if you are not a restaurant)

Samplings could include mac & cheese, beans, bite of a hot dog, bite of a juicy steak, macaroni salad, coleslaw, fruit salad, ice-cream float, etc...

Samplings could include slushies, fruit punch, root beer, non-alcoholic sangria, mock-tail type drinks, etc...

NOTE: If you are NOT a restaurant, the DBA will pay the $26 food permit with the city, if you would like to offer food. You will need to provide gloves and a sanitary service station. The DBA will provide the appropriate serving utensils based on what you are offering.
Games
Games need to be "one try-and done" to keep trail-goers moving. Ideas of games could include a ring toss, throw a horseshoe, throw a ping pong ball in a gold fish bowl, bust a balloon, pick a duck, pick a lollipop, bean bag toss, etc. Everyone with a passport will get a chance to play.

Those who “win” a game will be entered into a drawing to win a larger prize. Winners must provide the business with their name and phone number if they win. Kelly/Ty will be in touch on Monday following the event for all winners’ information.

The DBA will assist with prizes and contacting winners, In lieu of the stipend the DBA will purchase a gift certificate for your business.

The DBA and will fill out any ROW permits for games played outside of the business on city property.
